There is a trail in the east of Tottenham designed for quads, hiking, and maintenance. The trail doesn't have an official name, but it can be called the "Tottenham Power Line Trail", or something along those lines. We visited in December 2024.
Because there is no website or online resources about this trail, I can't find any historical records.

STAY ALONGSIDE THE POWER LINES. Anything to either side is private property. LEAVE THE PLACE EXACTLY HOW IT WAS WHEN YOU ARRIVED.
On this trail, you can:
- use your quad/ATV
- hike through the fields and forests
- mountain bike with caution
- birdwatch in the hardwood forest
- photograph the various field and forest animals
A short trail summary would be:
4th Line to 3rd Line - 1.47km
Starting at 4th, traverse past a field corn field (no, that's not a typo), continuing through another field toward 3rd Line.
3rd Line to 2nd Line - 1.61km
My personal favourite section goes through a field before doing some short ups and downs into a forest along a pretty creek. Sit on a log here and have a picnic.
2nd Line to Highway 9 - 2.8km
This section continues the trail down a hill and forest across a creek, then back up another hill. Finally going around a cornfield before arriving at an Esso.
There is no one entrance to this trail, but park at the Esso, or alongside 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Line.

4th Line to 3rd Line section
Whether you call it a "quad", "four-wheeler", "ATV", or something else, there's no denying how awesome they are. The town of Tottenham allows ATVs to be ridden on public roads in the town. Not to mention how perfectly designed this trail is. The only trouble you may come across are deep holes in the ground from other riders. Also be cautious due to the hills and creeks that line the trail. Other than that, it's a great time. Tearing up the trails is awesome.
Ehhh. A fun fall hike. That's literally it. Other than a winter, summer, or spring hike. 5/10 for what it is.
