The Sebright ATV Trail is an unmaintained and unregulated series of paths located in Sebright, ON. Despite this, the trail is well-used, easily followed, and rather popular among ATV enthusiasts. I got the chance to ride this trail in June 2025.
As this is not a marked trail, there is no publicly available information about the history. What I do know is that the trail is basically a road allowance that connects two halves of Concession Road B & C. And this is why you must stay on the trail at all times, because there is private property on each side of it.
On this trail, you can:
- ATV, which is the most fun and common option
- bike, which is far less fun because of the rocks and hills
- walk, which is slower but still enjoyable
- birdwatch, for killdeer (especially by the pond)
- go mudding, meaning blaze through marshes and water bodies
- climb, up the rocks left at the abandoned pit mine
There is only one trail, as all other trails are trespassing.
Main Trail - 3km from Concession Road B&C (far right) to Monck Road (Highway 45), difficult
This trail is (for the most part) not for beginners. Starting from the far right of the map, you have very easy and flat terrain until the first turnaround (with the gate). After this, you have two moderate level uphills before a very difficult downhill. If you don't want to tackle the strenuous downhill, there is a rocky alternate route. After this, pass by the thick marsh before riding alongside a rocky plateau. This plateau is an awesome spot to picnic, ride, and just enjoy the Canadian Shield (there are two access points, see below). Continuing west through an abandoned pit mine, we arrive at a sunny spot with a shallow pond. This pond is awesome to drive the ATVs through, as well as for ripping around at higher speeds than the rest of the trail. Past this, there's Concession Road B&C (which you need a license to drive on), the quarry trail (leading to Bot Aggregates), a Mud Trail (which get very deep sometimes), and a literal quarry, a few kilometres west down the road. Going south, you'll pass a swamp, Beaver Pond, Drive Thru Pond, as well as a road leading to Highway 45.
There's 3 ways to access this trail, but no parking.
You can drive your quad from the west side of Concession Road B&C, where the road bends, allowing access to the Pond and Mud Trail.
You can drive your quad from the east side of Concession Road B&C, where it ends, and access the wide, flat part from there.
Or you can drive the quad on Highway 45 to a small, gated-off parking lot, as seen on the right. I recommend the 2nd option.

Note that the photos in this section are not explicitly from this park, they are good photos of species that live here.
Killdeers (in the "open area")
Wildflowers
Cattails and marshy critters
Black bears (brutal picture, I know)
Don't bike this trail. It's too bumpy and rocky.
I wouldn't recommend walking either, due to the excessive vehicle traffic.
Make sure you're very familiar with ATVs before trying the strenuous hill.
Ride the quads straight through the pond beside the Mud Trail, see bottom middle.
Day trip from McRae Point or Mara.
Drive the quad through the drive-thru pond, see bottom left.
Drive the quad through one of the rocky plateau's ponds, see bottom right.
There's a few great places to get wet at when ATVing here. I don't recommend the marshes because the quads always get stuck. I don't recommend the Beaver Pond because it's far too deep. But what I do recommend are the 3 ponds I pictured above. The first of which is the Drive-Thru Pond, which runs parallel to the trail and is just a fun detour to get your passengers muddy. The second of which is the big daddy, located west of the abandoned pit mine. This one is very shallow and large, making it great to speed through. The last of which are the numerous rainwater basins atop the Rocky Plateau, which are perfect. I say this because of the rocks' round shape, making for smooth rides in and out of the water.
This trail is challenging, and very fun. Especially the pond. You can tell I love it from how long I've been bantering about it. Tons of fun. 8/10.
