Tiffany Falls Conservation Area is located at 900 Wilson Street East, in Ancaster, ON. The park is a part of the Dundas Valley Conservation Lands, but this trail acts as its own park in practice. The highlight of the small park is Tiffany Falls itself, a 21m high flow of the Tiffany Creek over the Niagara Escarpment. I visited in April 2025.

What I do know is that the falls were named after the area's first doctor, Dr. Oliver Tiffany, who studied in Pennsylvania before moving to the Ancaster area in 1796. He served the area for 40 years, so the city dedicated the falls to him. See City of Waterfalls for more. And I'd be remiss if I wrote an article called "Tiffany Falls" and not mention this video. How couldn't I?
Because of the park's small size, there aren't many activities that don't just consist of looking at the waterfalls. But I will try.
- there are 2 bridges, which were built in 2007 under a joint cooperation by numerous organizations to make access to the falls easier and more accessible
- there is a lookout platform, built in '07 as well
- there is no swimming, although people go under the falls anyways
- enjoy the numerous species of trees, including all listed here.
Tiffany Falls Trail - 0.3km
The only trail in the park is short but sweet. A hike-and-return type, this trail simply accesses the falls, ending at the lookout platform. The trail is flat, crosses the two bridges, and is often busy, as it is the only way to safely access the falls.
The parking lot is located at Wilson St. E, in Ancaster.
The parking lot is small, with room for about 20 cars.
If the lot is full, it is advised to not park in a non-designated spot, because you may be towed, even though people do it anyways.
But you park, walk in, see the falls, walk back, and leave.

Day trip here from Hamilton or from Valens Lake.
Pay the parking fee at this park, and visit any other Hamilton Conservation Area for free. The fee covers parking at any of these parks. Recieve the paper and scan it at the entry of any other park in Hamilton. I recommend Spencer Gorge, as it is nearby and very beautiful.
Yeah, of course I picked the falls as the highlight. They wouldn't have named the park after it if it wasn't special. These waterfalls stand at 21m or 70ft high, and they act as the sole reason to visit this park. Unlike nearby Tew Falls, this one pounds at the floor, giving the Niagara-esque mist that can be annoying, but adds to the experience. Despite the signage, you'll always see kids and adults alike at the bottom of the falls taking photos, getting wet, or just seeing what it's like. I don't recommend you break these rules (for obvious reasons), but they wouldn't care if the falls were boring - which they're not. It's worth the very short hike, and they make for a very pretty photo backdrop.
This is alright. I feel like I say that for every park, but I very much enjoyed this one. Although I preferred the actual hiking and climbing that Spencer Gorge gave me, I liked the short distance walk to a waterfall that had no business being so close to the city. If you look at satellite view, you're like "wow, there's a conservation area in there". And the fact that the hidden conservation area could be as beautiful as this is pretty cool. I rate it a 6.5/10.
