Inverhuron is located on 19 Jordan Road, in the town of Tiverton, ON. The park is on scenic Lake Huron, with beautiful blue waters that the sun shines upon. Characterized by its unique combination of shale rock and sandy shores, Inverhuron has came to be known as a park of great sunsets, and an interesting history (including Bruce Power Visitor Centre next door). We visited in August 2024.

The name "Inverhuron" is a conjuction of "inver" (Gaelic for confluence [alluding to the Little Sauble River]), and "Huron" the scenic lake it sits on.
Inverhuron offers:
- biking on the scenic Chain, Tulip, and Maloney Trails
- swimming on a long sandy beach
- birding for herons in scenic Little Sauble R.
- fishing for trout, bass, salmon, pike, pickerel, perch, and other panfish
- discovery programming at the day use area
- boating via the boat launch on constantly changing and wavy Lake Huron

This trail is perfect for circumnavigating the entirety of the park. Starting at a pioneer cemetery, traversing a marsh, passing the cabins on the shore, and passing along beautiful ideal sunset waters before arriving at the lookouts over the beach and the day use are. (bikes permitted)
This sandy trail provides access to the town of Inverhuron and great Little Sauble River views. Crossing a footbridge, former saw mill, former schoolhouse, and beautiful river access and scenery along the way. Best spots to see great blue herons in the park. (no bikes)
This 1km extension of the Chain Trail offers great wildflower viewing opportunities before turning around to the former Maloney homestead. Make this short detour from the Chain Trail. (bikes permitted)
An alternative route for bikers then taking the busy main road. Passing by pretty tulip trees. (bikes permitted)
Drive in. You'll see a cemetery on the left. Pass the gatehouse. Eventually, you'll see the road to the cabins on the right. The next driveway is Holmes Bay Campground on the right, and the day use on the left. The next road is boat launch on the left, and Lime Kiln Campground on the right. The road then ends into Gunn Point Campground.

Lake Huron is known for its pristine sunsets, and Inverhuron is no exception. As the park is sat on the eastern shore of Lake Huron, you can get perfect sunsets over the water. There are a few tips I have for this park:
- go for sunsets when it's a little bit cloudy - not grey, but just enough for the sun to catch it
- go to the Chain Trail behind Lime Kiln Campground - best viewing spot
- don't go to the beach for sunset, as the view isn't as good and most people go there
- take photos including the rocky shoreline in the foreground
Do all of this to prioritize the experience!
Easy add to my top 10. Great to explore, beautiful clear waters and a cool history. My downfall is just the lack of store, visitor centre, etc. Great park - 9/10.
